Roots and Wings for a brighter future!

Highland Homes

Highland Homes is a strategic project of Highland Child and Community Services, established to serve youth who are aging out of foster care here in Pennsylvania. The Homes are a Supervised Independent Living (SIL) shared home set to open its doors in 2022.  Our team is ready to welcome up to 11 young ladies into their new, transitional home — a place of hope and healing. A place for them to dig deep Roots and bring life to Wings as they prepare to forge their way forward from foster care to independent living where they will direct their own future, with our continued encouragement and support.

We’re excited to offer the opportunity for you to partner with us in opening these doors as we raise funds to purchase property specifically identified for this project, located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Highland USA

Trade Faire is a fair-trade retail store in that honors producers, communities, consumers, and the environment. Trade Faire imports beautiful and high-quality products from around the world allowing artisans and workers to afford basic necessities such as food, clean water, education, and healthcare for their families. Fair trade sets social, economic, and environmental standards for developing communities. Shoppers can feel good knowing that there is power and purpose in their purchase at Trade Faire. We can change the world, one purchase at a time!

Highland Haiti

Child sponsorship, trade school scholarship, support for higher education and job creation are the main areas of focus for Highland Child and Community Services’ work in Haiti. We believe in generating sustainable practices and working closely with Haitian nationals, supporting them as they improve the conditions in their own communities. Working at the grassroots level, we work to form strong relationships with both  individuals and families in some of the most vulnerable parts of the world.

Nurturing the mind, body, and soul for a brighter future!

Because you can help to change a life...
